Chris Scalisi, Executive Director

Global Chamber® Buffalo

With over 20 years' experience in business development and sales and 12 years working in international trade, Chris has developed and implemented international trade and economic develop programs with the Consulate General of Canada, Erie County Industrial Development Agency, and World Trade Center Buffalo Niagara. Chris also assisted Empire State Development’s WNY regional office with drafting the regional strategies for increasing exports and foreign direct investments (FDI) in WNY for the Global NY initiative .

The upstate region of New York is part of the Golden Horseshoe which is the 4th largest mega region. In and around the surrounding areas of Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse is a wealth of domestic and international companies that play a large part in this local and global economy. As the Executive Director, Global Chamber® Buffalo, Chris is committed to helping these companies and stakeholders expand upon their global reach related to:

  1. Exploring new international markets related to import and export trade,
  2. Knowledge and opportunities maximizing their global supply chain. 
  3. Education events on international law and finance.
  4. Obtaining a full understanding of international compliance.

 

Chris will oversee members and strategic trade collaborators for the Global Chamber® Buffalo. Chris will also be leading the Global Chamber® Advisory Committee, Export Circles, International Consulting Projects, as well as networking events to help facilitate new global business connections. Whether you are a one person company to the large multinational corporation, the Global Chamber® Buffalo is here to assist.

Mark Kuligowski, Marketing Director

Global Chamber® Buffalo

Mark Kuligowski has well over 20 years of professional experience in marketing and operational management (import, export, sales and project management).  In his Director of Marketing roles, he has developed and implemented marketing strategies at company, product, and service branding levels, utilizing print, digital, social media vessels, and, his favorite, hands-on presentation and interaction with potential and current business partners.  

His IT Director skills have allotted him in a keen eye and understanding of ERP development, the importance of ease of information (including EDI development and data management), and the current flow of that information throughout the import and export chain of distribution.

His Operations Management roles have provided him with experience in import and export, logistics, item pricing, quality control, comprehensive barcode knowledge, and sales training and global sales management,
